Hi, I'm writing to ask you to pray for the recovery of a young man named Kevin Johnson. He was shot while on patrol in Iraq and has lost the use of his right arm, maybe for good. He was stabilized & had surgery in Landstuhl, Germany and they've numbed all the nerves in his arm to allow the shoulder socket to heal without any movement from the arm. He'll be returning to Japan to recuperate (his unit is stationed there) and to rejoin his wife & 2 little kids. They're not sure what percentage of use he'll regain in that arm, unfortunately it's his right arm and he's right handed. He is in special forces and was with an Iraqi soldier and they were ambushed -- the Iraqi was hit and made a noise, causing Kevin to turn. The doctors tell him turning saved his life because the bullet went into his shoulder rather than the back of his neck. The Johnsons grew up with Al's kids and are a big Christian family, now living in Maine. Please pray for Kevin's recovery and his family's peace of mind through this time.
